The Story
I hated to Shave! The other bathroom routines were OK, but I hated to shave. I didn't like
the nicks, cuts and razor burns, or the small pieces of toilet paper that somehow I always
forgot to discard before I went out to face the world. Nor were electric razors my rescue, I
could not get a close enough shave. I even tried not to shave and grow a beard. I guess
some people were not meant to sport a beard, I looked older (I didn't need that) and my
wife hated it.
My name is Charlie and I set out on a quest a number of years ago to find a solution to my
personal shaving quandary. Quandary is a pretty strong word but bear with me a bit. I
talked to a few of my close friends and found they pretty much had the same feelings. No
help there!
A few days later I was talking to a business associate and mentioned my shaving quest,
he laughed and said, "You’ve been contaminated with all the commercial and marketing
were pounded with daily. I still shave with a shaving cup, brush and soap because I don't
get a good shave from using the stuff that comes out of an aerosol can. I still use a
straight razor!"
Still determined, I tried my friend's old fashion method and I did get a cleaner, closer
shave, however I didn't like all the time, fuss and preparation it took. I guess I'm part of the
instant gratification generation. By the way, if you like your face, don't try the straight razor.
I did and have the battle scars to prove it. By now you must think I'm crazy and maybe I
am. (My wife was calling me Don Quixote. You know The Man From La Moncha that
battled windmills, but I was thinking there may be a niche market for shaving products.
Why not? I've always been a marketer!
Well, with everyone interested in natural and organic products, I located and interviewed a
number of cosmetic, natural ingredients company. Finally finding the best for my project
and after an extensive education with a few months of trials and formulations, we
developed, a pre-shave oil and an organic shave cream with the best natural shave

With out going into to much detail, I provided friends, family and business associates with
samples, then sat back and waited for unsolicited comments.

Shave” soon morphed into “Sensuous Skin Remedies”.
Today we are still a small company, but pride ourselves by offering what we believe are
